Every day, my children and I reap the benefits of being loved, supported, and protected by two great men, my father and my husband. Neither had their father present, but they had other positive male role models who mentored them as boys and instilled in them the values necessary to be compassionate, motivated, and loving men.
As a mother to a teenage boy and a tween girl, I now understand that it truly does take a village. The L.A.U.N.C.H for Life “village” allows me to learn and contribute in a meaningful way. I am truly honored and humbled being given the opportunity to lead the Mom and Guardian Support Group. I look forward to partnering with the moms and guardians, learning from each other, and contributing to the growth and development of the mentees.
I have worked in banking and finance for over 20 years. As a Sr. Executive leading major programs and change initiatives, I have had the opportunity to chair several employee networks in support of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace and increased employment opportunities for people who are differently abled. My goal is to further support the community and leverage my professional skills to enable the continued growth and impact of L.A.U.N.C.H. for Life.

Having been a divorced single mom of 3 children for seven years, I learned fast that one person cannot do everything and that raising children truly takes a village. One of my greatest beliefs is that human beings are meant to support and serve one another. While the mission of L.A.U.N.C.H. is to provide mentorship to young men , I recognize that it is equally as important to provide support to our moms and guardians.
I currently work in Finance for HCA and have seen the impact a large, service based corporation can make on a community when resources are used for the greater good of helping our peers. The initiation of L.A.U.N.C.H. has inspired me to apply that service based mentality and desire to want to support people to other areas of my life outside of work. My kids and I have served various organizations in the Richmond area such as the Clover Hill PTA, Chesterfield Food Bank, Homeward and St. Gabriels.
I look forward to seeing the impact L.A.U.N.C.H. will have on the lives of our very special young men and am excited to be a part of it by building relationships with our moms and guardians.

I am privileged to serve on the Board of L.A.U.N.C.H for Life. I feel fortunate to have been raised by two caring and involved parents, and I have deep gratitude for all of the positive influences in my life. As the father of four children, I have learned a lot about what it means to be a positive role model, which has reinforced the importance of serving the youth of our community.
By day, I serve as a Vice President at Capital One, where I have worked for over 20 years leading multidisciplinary organizations across a variety of business lines. By night (and weekends), I serve as father to Nick, Ben, Alex, and Caroline and husband to my lovely wife Emily.
I am compelled by the fundamental importance of the L.A.U.N.C.H mission, and I am eager to support the growth of the organization and the individuals it supports.
